Blending Marseille and RWS can make readings less intuitive if you’re used to one or the other - the pip cards in Marseille are veeerry different from RWS’s illustrated minors, and switching between those interpretive frameworks mid-reading can get confusing. If you’ve built your practice around RWS meanings and symbolism, adding Marseille elements might muddy the waters rather than clarify them.
For someone wanting modern artwork but traditional RWS structure, I’d lean toward decks that commit fully to the RWS system - like the ones already mentioned in this thread. That way you’re learning one system deeply rather than trying to juggle the interpretation styles of two traditions at once.
That said, if you’re already comfortable with both systems or want to explore Marseille anyway, then sure, a hybrid could be interesting. Just depends on where you’re at in your practice.
