I tried a bunch of different ways to connect with my Ethereal Visions deck. Did readings by candlelight, tried using it outside at night, spent quiet time with it. Nothing clicked though. Eventually gave it to a friend who connected with it right away.
Bonding with Ethereal Visions takes a while, usually several months. I know everyone talks about instant connections but that’s not really how it goes. Moon phase work helps but honestly you just need to use it consistently. Most people start feeling that connection after 3-4 months of regular use.
I’ve found the Ethereal Visions deck requires more maintenance than my other decks. The gold foiling seems to absorb energy differently, after some readings the whole deck just feels dense.
My routine is pretty simple. Either smoke cleansing or leaving selenite on the cards overnight, especially after heavy readings. Works well for releasing any energy that has become trapped.
weird question but do you notice if the deck gets that dense feeling more with certain kinds of readings? like emotional stuff vs practical questions?
The pillow method worked surprisingly well for me with this deck, especially when combined with amethyst under the pillow too. Just really vibes with that style.
I liked this originally before switching to this instead. I’ve got a few too many decks now and even when the artwork and system are the same… sometimes I think we just resonate with some better than others. Maybe it’s the artstyle.
