You should make sure to use card combinations with fives. I mean, really, you should use them with any Tarot spread, but especially with fives. The context matters so much with the cards they are next to.
Five of Diamonds followed by an Ace can indicate a whole new phase of life in whatever area the Ace represents. But 5 followed by the Ace of Spades specifically means a change for the worse, or if the cards after that are good, a dramatic change that’ll involve some suffering first before it gets better.
If it shows up after a bunch of negative or static cards in the spread, that signals the stagnation is finally breaking. But if negative cards follow it, that’s more of a warning that difficulties are ahead rather than ending.
