Got the Classic Tarot deck from Five Below for $12. Drew the Eight of Pentacles three days before my job interview, and they actually asked about learning new skills and stuff. Pretty weird coincidence.
The cards are decent quality too. Spilled coffee on them last month and they’re still fine.
Yeah the prices on new decks made me look at secondhand options instead. I check thrift stores and online marketplaces for used ones, just make sure all 78 cards are there and give them a good cleanse before using them.
Found my favorite deck at an estate sale actually. $8 Rider-Waite that was mixed in with some old board games. The edges are worn and the colors are a bit faded but it reads fine. Honestly the $15 budget limit means I have to be pickier about what I buy, which is probably a good thing.
Honestly, check TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Ross. I’ve seen $7, $12 tarot kits there with actual guidebooks.
