The diversity thing matters more than people think. Did a reading for my niece with my old RWS deck and she literally asked why everyone in the cards was white. Grabbed the Modern Witch Tarot after that. There are LGBT Tarot decks that specifically try to cover everything, but I don’t worry if I don’t cover absolutely everyone - as long as a deck has some diversity.
Also, don’t feel the urge to be pressured into some niche or indie Tarot deck just because it’s hyped up on Kickstarter or something. I have decks I bought for $10 a decade ago and I’ll still use them in a reading without batting an eye.
