I like using a dedicated clarifier position specifically for the Nine of Diamonds when it lands in a spread. Like building a mini spread within your spread.
I pretty much always pull one extra card and place it directly beneath the nine to check whether the querent is in the ‘still building’ phase or the ‘time to collect’ phase. There are a couple of diamonds I’ll do this for, like the seven as well.
