I don’t think there’s a specific age for any of the cards. All 22 can pop up at any point in life.

Like, you might think The Hermit is an ‘old person’ card, but I’ve seen it come up for people in their twenties going through introspective phases. Or The Fool, that’s not just for young people starting out. My grandma got it when she decided to learn Italian at 75. The archetypes show up when they’re relevant to what you’re going through, not based on how old you are.

Instead of always using the same significator based on my birth chart, I look at what planets are active in my transits right now.

When Neptune’s hitting my chart hard, Queen of Cups feels right since I’m Neptune-ruled. You could do the same, see what planet’s busy in your chart and work with its card. Moon for lunar vibes, Empress for Venus transits, that kind of thing.
