Fantastic symbolic artwork that you can look at for hours and still always spot new details the next time you look. 52 cards that blend tarot, I-Ching, and runes with pure intuition. Perfect as clarifiers, daily pulls, or full spreads.
The messages I get with this deck are clear. King… but honest. I don’t get fluffy readings from this one. I think beginners would be fine with this one, but there’s plenty of depth for experienced or full-time Tarot readers.
Lunar + astrology magic in 44 gorgeous cards. Perfect for timing questions, manifestations & moon-phase spreads. Really high-quality feel to these cards. One of the most popular oracle decks and you probably all already have this one.
Feminine (though I do know guys that use this deck), radiant energy with 5 suits for guidance/healing/action. The deck that always lights me up.
The Starseed Oracle
Rebecca Campbell again. Cosmic soul-activation vibes. Amazing for remembering your mission & adding depth to spiritual readings. I don’t think you have to be a Starseed to use this deck.
Open to opinions but would love to hear what your top oracle decks are too. Always looking to add more to the collection.
One deck I would throw in here is the Rumi Oracle by Alana Fairchild. The art by Rassouli is stunning, with these vivid colors that somehow still feel meditative.
Each card comes with a Rumi poem and a two-page message from Fairchild. It also includes a sacred honoring ritual.
It maybe isn’t the bright Instagram ready cards people seem to go for these days but I think it’s some of the best cards for intuitive readings.
Wisdom of the Oracle is my #1 too. So yeah, we’re on the same page there. I think Keepers of the Light Oracle might be up your street if you like these.
It covers spiritual beings like ascended masters and angels. The messages are uplifting and the guidebook doesn’t make you work too hard to understand what’s being said, which I appreciate. It’s good if you want guidance that feels like it’s coming from specific spiritual figures rather than abstract symbolism.
Works well alongside more symbolic decks like Wisdom of the Oracle. They balance each other out in a reading.
There’s a Moonology Manifestation Oracle now, 48 cards, specifically geared toward manifesting with the lunar cycle. If you already have the original 44-card set, the Manifestation version adds house placements and goes deeper into using the moon as a cosmic timer. I have both and they complement each other well. The original feels more reflective, the new one more action-oriented. But yeah, keep the recs coming, everyone, always looking to grow the collection.
To me this is the perfect mix. I don’t get a deck because of the asthetic but it does help when you enjoy the look and feel of the cards (because you’re more likely to keep using them).
The Earthbound Oracle by Andrew Swartz was specifically designed to be read intuitively. No guidebook included. There’s a PDF if you want it, but you’re not meant to need one.
Thomas’s Life Line Lenoracle works the same way, a 3-in-1 deck you can just interpret however feels right to you.
Decks without rigid meanings tend to get at something deeper in readings, especially when you let the imagery speak for itself. Just my experience though.
I’m kind of surprised more people don’t talk about Tea Leaf Fortune Cards. I keep reaching for them over every other oracle deck I own, and at this point I think they might be underrated for intuition work. Or maybe I just found my match, who knows.
The Mushroom Oracle by Broccoli just works. Fun addition to my collection, and they’ve got flower and seashell versions too if you’re into that whole nature vibe thing.
Has anyone else found decks without clear-cut meanings in the guidebook kind of frustrating sometimes? This one gives you prompts instead of definitions, which is great for building intuition over time, training yourself to sit with the imagery and let it speak to you. Some days though, I’m just staring at a card like ‘what are you trying to tell me.’ Total blank.
When it clicks, though, chef’s kiss. Pairs beautifully with my tarot spreads.
The artwork is what does it for me. The Light Seer’s Tarot just opens something up intuitively, and even though it’s technically tarot rather than oracle, the energy of that deck is so fluid that it deserves a mention here.
Something about letting it guide you instead of overthinking the spreads. It just flows.
Has anyone worked with the Akashic Oracle deck for shadow work? It might be my favorite tool for it.
You don’t need a guidebook. Everything’s right there on the cards. When you’re deep in something heavy, the last thing you want is to break that open space by flipping through pages trying to find a meaning.
It’s over 70 cards, which gives you a lot of nuance for the darker stuff that comes up. Just a solid deck for inner work.
