If you’re doing a yes/no reading or your spread has a yes or no position, what does The Moon card mean to you?
I like the moon card for advice, but I see a lot of mixed opinions about what it means for this situation.

Most readings leave you with more questions than answers.
Get unlimited tarot readings and actually ask the follow-up. Full spreads, not generic meanings or automated generators.
The Moon is honestly one of the most powerful cards in the deck. I will die on that hill.
I think it almost always means yes.
For me it’s pure intuition, spirituality, feminine mystery. I know some people read it as deception, but I’ve never gotten that from it. Supporting cards matter but standing alone it is such positive energy
Every card carries both light and shadow (the Moon especially), and untangling all those layers when you really just need a straight answer feels like overkill.
If you really want to force it to give you an answer, then the Moon means yes, but reading Tarot combinations will let you get a lot more from your reading.
This is one of those cards that I don’t think will give you a simple yes or no. The Moon is an intuition prompt. It’s why some readers are very certain about it meaning yes while others get a negative meaning from it. The Moon in this position is telling you that you already know the answer.
Honestly the moon feels more like the deck holding up a mirror before it even answers you.
When I kept pulling this card over and over it was basically telling me my head wasn’t in the right place - too caught up in what I wanted to happen instead of actually seeing things clearly. Which, fair enough.

You’re not being straight with yourself right now. That’s the real pull. THAT is what the Moon is trying to tell you. The answer’s murky because you’re making it murky, and the cards are just reflecting that back at you whether you like it or not.
The Tarot doesn’t tell you to look at your intuition because the deck is too lazy to give you the answer. It is trying to help you to see something far more important than a simple yes or no.
