That’s weird, my experience was the total opposite when I started.
Reading for myself felt really natural and easy, but the second someone else sat down, I’d just blank out. I wonder if it’s because when you’re new, you don’t overthink things?
Like you just trust whatever the cards show without questioning it too much. Now it’s flipped for me; I question every card in my own readings, but other people’s readings just flow. Maybe there’s this window when you’re starting out where you don’t know enough to doubt yourself?
Just remember, your practice (especially early on) is your own, and it might not look the same as other people’s. If you like doing readings for yourself, then I would suggest you keep a Tarot journal because that might be enough to keep you sticking to the card meanings and not letting wishful thinking take over.
