Lots of wands in a tarot reading for weeks now

Okay so I’ve been doing daily pulls for weeks now and I keep getting wands. It’s getting weird at this point. Just this week, I’ve had the Knight of Wands twice, the 7 of Wands, and today the Queen of Wands showed up again. I’m wondering if the universe is trying to tell me something that I’m just not getting? Has anyone else had this happen where one suit just keeps showing up over and over?

I know wands are about passion and creativity and taking action, but I already feel pretty motivated in my life so I’m confused about what message I’m supposed to be getting here.

The Knight and Queen of Wands together? Yeah that’s usually about attraction more than creativity.

I’d pay attention to any sparks flying between you and someone who fits that Queen energy (confident, passionate type. The cards might be picking up on something already there.

Had a friend deal with this exact same wands thing recently. She kept pulling them over and over.

They were showing up because there was this gap between how she was acting and what she actually wanted to be doing. It felt like her outer life wasn’t matching her inner self anymore. The wands kept coming until she started paying attention to that disconnect.

When I design spreads for repeated suit patterns, wands often appear in groups when we’re nearing the end of something. It feels like the universe is saying, ‘You’re motivated, but keep that energy up because you’re close to a breakthrough.’

The repetition might be about maintaining what you’ve built. Those court cards suggest you’re embodying that wands energy, whether you feel it or not. Try creating a simple three-card spread with questions like ‘What am I persevering through?’, ‘What boundaries need protecting?’, and ‘What victory awaits?’ It might help you understand why the wands keep showing up.

It could also be a suit manifestation of the everything is fine card from Modern Witchcraft, which points towards avoidance of something. There are too many factors to really say without seeing the full spread.

if you keep pulling wands, you might be in one of those times where things manifest quicker. i’ve noticed stuff tends to show up in real life about 3-4 days after pulling wands. the knight and queen combo usually means someone passionate is coming into your life. or maybe things are getting more intense with someone you already know.

One thing about working with multiple wands, the energy buildup is real.

Seen plenty of people burn themselves out this way. Grounding practices help a lot. I usually do some meditation or journaling to keep things balanced. Otherwise, the energy just keeps building with nowhere to go. It can leave you feeling pretty drained and all over the place.

In some cultures, repeated wands are viewed as calls for community rather than personal matters. Indigenous practices often link this suit to leadership within a group and shared responsibilities. Your role is to use your energy for the benefit of others as well as yourself.

Yeah, this is really hard to say because it’s more than just the suits at play. You need to look at the full meaning of the rest of the cards because the answer probably lies there and if the Tarot isn’t sure you’ll understand the repeated suits thesmelves - they’re going to point you in the right direction.

My tarot teacher used to tell me that pulling the same suits over and over (especially wands) was a good sign.

She’d been reading for like 40 years when she taught me. I’ve seen it happen a lot since then. She called it the ‘greenhouse phase’, everything sprouting at once. Your intuition is basically working overtime. She’d get all excited when students complained about this. She said we were picking up on stuff that experienced readers might just brush off.

Repeated wands are telling you to trust my creative instincts.

Don’t keep second-guessing yourself, especially with those court cards you’re pulling. They often show up when we’re ready to step into our power but are still playing small. I read somewhere about interpreting wands as ‘inspired action vs forced action’.

Ask yourself where you are forcing instead of flowing.

Wands definitely come up more in summer readings. The whole fire element thing seems to match up with warmer weather. I find my energy levels affect what cards I pull too. When it’s cold and dark I get way more cups and pentacles.

So many wands in one reading usually means fire signs are involved somehow. Could be a Leo, Sagittarius or Aries coming into your life. Or maybe you already know someone like that who needs your attention right now

Lots of Wands showing up means it’s time to do something. Anything. It’s the symbol of action and taking control.

Fire energy everywhere. That 10 of Wands is brutal, it’s like when you say yes to everything and then wonder why you’re so tired all the time. You’re carrying way too much, probably stuff that isn’t even yours to carry.

The 3 of Wands is more about standing back and looking at what’s possible. Planning your next move. These cards together suggest you’re stuck between being overwhelmed and wanting to move forward. Hard to see new opportunities when you’re buried under a pile of responsibilities.

Maybe some of that stuff you’re carrying around needs to go.

When wands keep showing up in your readings, pairing pulls with certain teas can help.

Cinnamon or ginger tea works well since the warmth matches that fire energy. For specific cards, Queen of Wands goes great with hibiscus tea and a bit of cayenne. She’s got that spicy energy anyway. With the 7 of Wands, I usually go for peppermint and rosemary. Helps with staying grounded but alert. Sometimes the body needs some herbal support to process what the cards are showing.

I had the same thing happen with wands and Temperance last month. Turns out I was heading for burnout. Sometimes wands come up when we’re overdoing it with our projects and forgetting to rest.

Try pulling a clarifier card next time, it might help you figure out if it’s about where to focus that energy or if you just need to chill for a bit.

When cards keep following you around like that, it’s usually not random.

Even when you’re asking about different stuff. This happens when there’s something connecting all those areas that you haven’t spotted yet. The wands energy keeps showing up because there’s probably a pattern there. Sometimes the cards have to repeat themselves when we’re not getting it the first time.

It helps to know what question you’re asking the cards.

Take wands, they’re linked to fire signs (Leo, Sagittarius, Aries). So if you’re pulling cards about someone or a relationship, wands could mean someone with that fiery personality. Or they might literally be one of those signs.
