So I’ve been kind of fixated on the idea of mixing tarot decks lately. Combining two or even more decks of different types together. Like maybe different Oracle decks or a mix of RWS and oracle cards. It feels like most of the YouTube Tarot readers are already doing this and I never really knew why.
Asthetically it looks nice but I can see how it could really change how you do a reading too. Has anyone used different decks for the same spread?
Or how about pulling the best version of each card from different decks and combining them into one set. Wondering if anyone else has actually done this.
I have a few RWS-based decks I like, but none of them land for me on every single card - there are always a few that just don’t click, and then I’ll see those same cards in another deck and they’re perfect. Every time. So I keep coming back to this idea of building one “best of” deck from all of them.
