Has anyone else fallen for the Moonchild Tarot? The pastel colors and cosmic imagery really work well together.
The soft purples and pinks are gorgeous, and the artwork has more depth than I expected.
The Shadowscapes deck was my first tarot deck. I’m still obsessed with it. I keep buying other decks but none of them hit the same. The watercolor fantasy art is just perfect for me, I’m in my 30s and still into all that fairy tale stuff.
Every card has so many little details. Sometimes I get distracted just looking at them instead of doing the actual reading. I’ve got a bunch of other decks now but I keep going back to Shadowscapes. It’s like my default deck at this point.
I think that’s totally up to your own perception and taste but for me visually the most beautiful decks that I was drawn to were, Tarot of Mystical Moments by Cathryn Welz-Stein as the deck has 84 cards with additional 4 female kings to distinguish the feminine and masculine aspect, energy wise in readings. It’s a digital collage by the Artist. My second favorite deck would be The Mary-El Tarot deck. Marie White is an American artist who is a painter and the Deck although is completely out of characters of the classical RaiderSmith deck symbols, it draws you in as if you were visiting an Art gallery. Not a good deck for beginners maybe in that sense but it allows to pursue deeper meanings and feelings during readings.
Yes one of my favourite decks is the Luna Edition of Ethereal Visions which is Purple based and a little holographic and is a diverse version of Ethereal Visions with someone who looks like Rihanna as The Empress on the cover. It’s absolutely gorgeous and it’s one of m favourite decks. My favourites are always changing but I think I also love Modern Goddess Tarot Deck, Adrienne Marie Brown’s The Lineages of Change Tarot Deck (I love how it has Herb recommendations for each card) The Hoodoo Tarot Deck and The Supernatural and Golden Girls Tarot Decks.
