Signs of Being Psychic? Am I Psychic?

Two separate readers have picked up on something with me, apparently, and told me I have a psychic gift. I do enjoy reading the Tarot, but I wonder if there is more I should/cold be doing with it.

Are there signs to tell you that you’re psychic?

I’ve always been weirdly accurate at sensing what people are really like when I first meet them. never tried actual readings or predictions tho, so idk if that’s even related or a totally different thing

Most readings leave you with more questions than answers.

Oh, that’s cool, two separate readers picking up the same thing independently. That consistency is always a good sign and worth paying attention to.

I would follow it up with a magick ability test and see what it can tell you. It does sound like clairsentience, so you might pick up energy from people, places, or situations through gut feelings and impressions, not logic. Think about reading moods, intentions, or vibes without a word spoken. Stomach twinges about someone new, or sensing room tension when everything looks fine.

Instead of looking for signs, I would just focus on developing your ability. Let the signs come later. It’s common, especially if you’re empathic (feeling others’ emotions deeply). Clairsentients get those physical, intuitive hits that go deeper. Tarot’s perfect for honing it. The imagery taps your unconscious, sharpening intuition off the cards, too. That people-reading skill is the same muscle you’re already using with Tarot, just unnamed till now.

Maybe I’m biased, but I would start with a Tarot spread. Why look for external signs when your cards are literally jumping at the chance to answer a question like this?

Repetition across readings is a strong signal in tarot, but I do agree that you may not have to worry about external signs at all. Just focus on development since you are already here after all.

Taort isn’t the only way to use psychic ability (of course), but since we’re here, it seems like a good place to start. Watch for cards like the High Priestess (the ultimate psychic card, bridging conscious and subconscious), the Moon (intuition and hidden depths), Queen of Cups (super receptive and emotionally tuned). Others include the Hermit for introspection or Hanged Man for new perspectives. Cups suit overall covers water and emotions. High Priestess + Moon together is a definite psychic nudge.

Try a reading on your own gifts: What’s your strongest intuition? What’s blocking it? How to develop it? You’ve got the tools alreasy so might as well use them.

Having a dedicated space for readings really helped me develop those intuitive gifts. They run in my family, and someone noticed them in me when I was pretty young. That gave me a head start on understanding what those instincts really meant.

I know it sounds boring, but journaling. You’ll start to spot patterns in your ability, but you need to be tracking it properly.

It also helps to have people in your life who can support you without draining your energy.

Everything builds from that gut foundation you have to start with.

Psychic stuff is like the Magician card: all the tools are on the table. You just gotta claim 'em and you’re probably already using them naturally just probably don’t realize it yet.

Real sign is frequency, like having constant hits and not just hunches. For example, ‘Spain’ pops into your head about someone new, then they mention family there. If it happens all the time, you’ve got something genuine. If two readers spot it independently, plus your own accuracy, that’s definitely potential. Tarot helps channel it deliberately, but patience is huge, way more than people think.
