Symbols echoing between the three cards. That’s what pulls me in every time. A hand reaching in the ground position can feel like it’s already grasping toward whatever sits in the move spot, even before the meanings click into place. The layout becomes a quiet conversation between images. Majors placed next to minors are interesting and change a bit too. They soften or sharpen depending on what object they share space with. The Star next to a pentacle, for instance, can make the practical card feel more like a wish being offered than just a coin sitting there on the table.

Elemental dignities matter so much in a 3 card pull, way more than people give them credit for. Fire and water next to each other cancel out. Same element amplifies, sometimes to the point where the reading gets loud. Try it once and you can’t unsee it.
