Best Free Psychic Readings Online?

Most of the psychic or spiritual apps I’ve downloaded on my phone ended up being the same thing: tap a button, get a generic message. Feels more like a horoscope generator than actually talking to someone.

Is there a good place to get a psychic reading for free online?

I’m trying to find something where there’s an actual reader on the other end. Like, real-time chat or a phone call, not just pre-written cards popping up on the screen.

Deepen Your Tarot Practice Beyond the Cards
Finding meaningful tarot discussions and authentic guidance can be surprisingly difficult. Discover a space where your questions are welcomed and your intuitive growth is celebrated: Start Your Journey

There’s a great thread on free Tarot readings from humans (not generators) and I’ll share some advice from there:

  • The most obvious are Tarot Guru readings. Actual human readings for free.

  • Lotus Tarot has over 200 million readings, it’s one of the generator ones but probably the closest to actually being useful. Not super personalized but it considers the card positions properly which a lot of sites just… don’t.

  • For video readings tho, you might like YouTube Tarot readers. The whole Pick-a-Card format works really well - the reader lays out different piles and you intuitively pick one, then skip to that timestamp. Closest to getting a normal reading for free.

  • There are some readers who will do specific readings like this one for twin flames. Entirely free video and written spreads from a person, but only for twin flames; they won’t do generic readings.

Yeah, it is hard to find good ones. Most are just crappy randomizers dressed up with sparkly graphics lol.

I would say @Sploots pretty much nailed it. There are services like Kasamba where you get a few minutes free but that’s when you attach a card and they’ll start billing when you go over. Mixed reviews about their service. A whole lot of them like Mediumchat have the same setup.

So you’re not getting a full “free” thing with them, just a demo because they want you to start.

The reason you won’t find many doing it for free (Tarot Guru is the exception, of course) is that these people are in demand and it takes time.

If someone spends years learning to read the Tarot they do deserve to get paid for it, I don’t blame them for that.

There are other platforms that give you a little bit for free, like PE or Keen, but they’re all the same thing really.

I would manage your expectations a bit here. Most platforms offer intros but not full sessions. You know what they say… You get what you pay for (which is why the free ones you’ve found so far suck). Just as bad as the soulless AI tarot sites.

I think @Sploots did pretty much cover the only options I know of.

Most of the free ones are pretty generic or automated, but yeah… I don’t know what else you could really expect. I tested a bunch of them out and never found any that weren’t already covered here.

Keen’s 5 free minutes lets you actually talk to a real reader, which is what you’re looking for. California Psychics and Bitwine also have intro offers but they’re more limited. As others have already said, still not completely free and they’re all doing it to try and get you to pay for longer and then some of those services try to charge incredibly high per minute. Way more than Tarot readingsshouldcost.

Look for readers who advertise ‘practice pulls’ or ‘study readings’ in exchange for feedback, especially on tarot FB groups or forums. You’ll find beginners and more experienced readers in the same space who want to practice. You’ll have to be patient for the people who are just getting started and going through their guidebooks, but it’s the only way to**really get a free reading.

Just be careful with boundaries - if a ‘free’ reading quickly turns into pressure for paid cleansings or curse removals, that’s your cue to leave.
