I’m looking for suggestions on pink tarot decks that have some actual depth to them.
I love pink and want a deck that fits my aesthetic, but every one I’ve found so far feels like a set of greeting cards. They’re all pastels and butterflies, super simplified imagery, like the creators think anyone who likes pink can’t handle real tarot symbolism.
I do a mix of traditional tarot and Wiccan moon rituals, and I want something that works for both. Ideally, something with bold pink rather than baby pink, and artwork that has some edge to it. I’ve seen plenty of dark gothic decks and minimalist ones, but finding a genuinely pink deck that takes itself seriously seems impossible.
Does anyone know of decks that fit this description? I’m open to indie creators, too, if you have recommendations.

If you just want the basic cards that are pink, this is the same basic deck (in pink) with descriptions on every card and even a pink pouch to keep them in. The booklet shows you some basic spreads to use. Nothing fancy, but certainly pink.
Ooorr if you want something with the same vibes but a bit more unique…
This reminds me so much of Lisa Frank, in a good way! It’s lively and nostalgic. When I first got into tarot, I was amazed by all the different artistic styles out there. This one really stands out.
I picked up the Modern Witch Tarot recently. Not as pink as the one above but it’s got this pink/magenta color thing going on that’s pretty nice. The imagery sticks to traditional symbolism but with a modern twist. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a deck that respects the tradition.
heads up if you’re looking at those pink or metallic decks, the glare can be really annoying. had to switch reading spots because my deck kept catching the light and i couldn’t see the cards properly. pretty glaring issue lol
Another great example of the pink tax. These cards are more expensive for noooo reason.
I know what you mean about pink decks being too cute. Saw someone doing a reading with this hot pink deck that had occult symbolism and dark magenta tones. They used it in a moon ritual and the bright pink worked better than I thought it would.
The video shows some pink decks that aren’t mentioned much, they’re not as fluffy as most. Still learning myself, but it was different seeing them used for real work instead of Instagram spreads.
Some of the indie tarot creators have some nice pink decks with good symbolism.
She Wolfe Tarot has bold rose pink tones and fierce imagery that doesn’t look like greeting cards.
The Final Rose Tarot uses different pink shades from blush to hot pink while keeping traditional tarot depth. Works well for readings and ritual work.
A lot of these pink decks sell out fast, so there’s demand for what you’re looking for.
Have you seen the Moonchild Tarot deck?
It’s got this cool mix of electric pink on black that gives it a distinct look. The moon cards really pop with their pink energy, making them ideal for working with lunar phases. I like using mine for new moon rituals to focus my intentions.
Pink decks with real power often use bold magentas and rose gold metallics mixed with feminine energy, not just soft pastels.
The True Heart Intuitive Tarot is a good example - deep fuchsia throughout with shadowy undertones in the minor arcana that works for both light and shadow readings. I’ve used it during full moon rituals and the pink enhances the lunar energy rather than dulling it. Something about that shade hits the heart chakra differently. Look for ‘rose quartz’ themed decks instead of generic pink ones. They tend to have more going on beneath the surface.
This reading is like pulling Cups and The Sun over and over. There’s so much sweetness and light here. Even The Empress would probably say we need some shadow work to balance things out. The whole thing is dripping with honey and rose petals.
So, I’ve been wondering if I should bring this up. My pink decks appear to fade quicker when they’re stored near windows. Not sure if it’s the pigments or just me imagining things, but I’ve moved them to darker spots just in case.
Anyone else notice this? I wouldn’t want someone to lose the color on their deck because I stayed quiet.
Been wondering if there’s any point to doing a ritual when you choose a pink deck.
Like, does it actually make a connection with the deck or is that just in our heads? If anyone’s done this, did you notice any difference with how the deck works for you? Especially curious about moon rituals. People probably have all kinds of methods that work for them.
Check out the OK Tarot by Adam J. Kurtz.
It’s pink with simple hand-drawn designs that still have all the traditional symbols. The deck uses genderless figures throughout. Works fine for regular readings and moon work if that’s your thing.
I picked up the Neon Moon Tarot recently…
The fluorescent pink ink actually glows under blacklight, which is neat for night readings. Been using it for shadow work. The contrast between the bright pink and darker imagery works well for that kind of thing.
Pink decks are a real challenge under studio lighting. You try to get a good photo for Instagram, and your Death card looks like a cotton candy mess. I’ve ended up having to create a separate lighting setup specifically for pink decks since they bounce light around like disco balls.
Color symbolism in tarot doesn’t get enough attention. Like how different shades of pink in a card can point to love or self-care themes. It’s one of those things that adds another layer to readings once you start noticing it.
There’s a new deck coming out from Melbourne called Zeke’s Arcana. Zeke’s Lunchbox is the company behind it. They’re launching on Kickstarter soon. The artwork I’ve seen has a nice balance, modern look but still recognizable symbolism. Might be worth a look if you’re into collecting.
